💾 How to Request a Website Backup or Restore

Backing up your website regularly protects you from data loss and allows you to restore your site quickly if something goes wrong. TK Internet Marketing provides on-demand backup and restore options through your Client Area or by request to our support team.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Your Client Area

  1. Go to https://clients.tkinternetmarketing.com/clientarea.php.

  2. Enter your email address and password, then click Login.

💡 If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password? and follow the instructions in your email to reset it.

🧭 Step 2: Access Your Hosting Service

  1. From the top menu, click ServicesMy Services.

  2. Locate the hosting service for your website.

  3. Click View Details to open the service management page.

⚙️ Step 3: Create a Backup (if available)

If your hosting package includes cPanel or built-in backup tools:

  1. Click Login to cPanel from your service details page.

  2. Scroll to the Files section and click Backup or Backup Wizard.

  3. Choose Download a Full Website Backup or select specific components (like Home Directory or Database).

  4. Save the backup file to your computer or external storage device.

💡 It’s a good practice to download backups before making major website changes or plugin updates.

🧩 Step 4: Request a Restore

If you need to revert your website to a previous version:

  1. Open a support ticket by going to Support → Open Ticket in your Client Area.

  2. Select the Website Support or Maintenance department.

  3. Include the following details in your message:

    • The domain or website name

    • Approximate date or version to restore

    • Any specific files or databases affected

  4. Click Submit Ticket. Our team will confirm once your restore request has been completed.

🕒 Restore requests are typically processed within one business day, depending on the size of the backup.

🧮 Step 5: Confirm Your Website Restore

Once the restore is complete:

  • Visit your website to confirm that all pages and functions are working correctly.

  • Log in to WordPress or your CMS to check plugins, menus, and forms.

  • If anything looks incorrect, reply to your ticket for a follow-up.
