Transferring your domain to TK Internet Marketing lets you manage your website, hosting, and domain services all in one place — with unified billing, renewal reminders, and local support.
Follow these steps to transfer your domain securely and without downtime.

🧠 Before You Begin

To transfer your domain, make sure:

• The domain has been registered for at least 60 days (ICANN rule).

• The domain is not locked at your current registrar.

• You have access to the admin email address listed in the WHOIS record.

• You have your EPP/Auth code from your current registrar.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Your Current Registrar

1. Sign in to your current registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.).

2. Locate the domain you want to transfer.

3. Confirm that:

   • The domain is unlocked.

   • Privacy protection is turned off (temporarily).

   • Your admin contact email is up-to-date and accessible.

⚠️ You’ll receive transfer confirmation emails at this admin email address.

🧩 Step 2: Retrieve the EPP/Auth Code

1. Look for an option labeled Transfer Out, Get EPP Code, or Authorization Code.

2. Copy the code or have it emailed to your admin contact.

3. Keep this code secure — you’ll need it to authorize the transfer.

🧭 Step 3: Start the Transfer at TK Internet Marketing

1. Log in to your Client Area: https://clients.tkinternetmarketing.com/clientarea.php.

2. Click Domains → Transfer Domain to Us.

3. Enter your domain name and click Transfer.

4. Enter your EPP/Auth Code when prompted.

5. Add the transfer to your cart and complete checkout.

💡 Most domain transfers include a 1-year renewal automatically added to your term.

📧 Step 4: Approve the Transfer via Email

After checkout:

1. Check your email for a domain transfer approval message.

2. Click the Approve Transfer link in the message.

3. The transfer will then be processed by the registry.

⏱️ Most transfers complete within 5–7 days, depending on the current registrar.

🔁 Step 5: Verify Completion

Once your domain transfer is complete:

• You’ll receive a confirmation email from TK Internet Marketing.

• Your domain will appear under Domains → My Domains in your Client Area.

• DNS and website access will remain unchanged during the transfer process.

🧮 Step 6: Re-enable Privacy Protection (Optional)

If you had WHOIS privacy enabled at your previous registrar:

1. Log in to your Client Area → Domains → Manage Domain.

2. Click the Addons or Privacy Protection tab.

3. Turn WHOIS Privacy Protection ON again.
