🧾 How to Verify or Update Your Domain Contact Information

Your domain’s contact details are required by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and your registrar to prove ownership and ensure proper communication for renewals, transfers, and legal notices. Keeping this information accurate helps prevent suspension or transfer issues.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Your Client Area

  1. Visit https://clients.tkinternetmarketing.com/clientarea.php.

  2. Enter your email address and password, then click Login.

💡 If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot Password? and follow the link in your email to reset it.

🧭 Step 2: Go to Your Domain List

  1. From the main navigation, click Domains → My Domains.

  2. Locate the domain name you want to review.

  3. Click the Manage Domain button to open the details page.

🧩 Step 3: Access Contact Information

  1. In the domain management menu, click Contact Information (sometimes labeled Registrant Contact or WHOIS Contact).

  2. You’ll see four contact categories:

    • Registrant (Owner) — The legal domain owner

    • Administrative Contact — Receives notifications and manages domain settings

    • Technical Contact — Handles DNS and hosting details

    • Billing Contact — Receives renewal and invoice reminders

💡 Most clients only need to update the Registrant and Administrative contacts.

✏️ Step 4: Verify or Update Your Details

  1. Review each section for accuracy.

  2. Update any outdated fields, such as:

    • Name or Business Name

    • Email Address

    • Phone Number

    • Mailing Address

  3. Click Save Changes when finished.

⚠️ Using incorrect or fake contact information can lead to domain suspension per ICANN policy.

📧 Step 5: Verify Your Email Address (If Prompted)

After saving changes, you may receive a verification email from your domain registrar.

  1. Open the message and click the verification link inside.

  2. This confirms your updated email address is valid.

  3. Failure to verify may result in temporary suspension until confirmed.

💡 The verification link usually expires within 15 days, so check promptly.

🔁 Step 6: Check WHOIS Data (Optional)

To confirm your updates have been applied:

  1. Visit https://lookup.icann.org.

  2. Enter your domain name and review the Registrant Contact information.

  3. Some details may be hidden for privacy, but key contact fields should reflect your recent updates.

🧮 Step 7: Enable WHOIS Privacy (Recommended)

If you’d like to keep your personal information private:

  1. Go to the Addons or Privacy Protection tab in your domain management area.

  2. Toggle WHOIS Privacy Protection ON.

  3. This hides your contact details from public records while keeping your domain compliant.
